GREAT FALLS, Mont., October 19, 2023 — Local Great Falls Americans fan, Jim Quick, who also is a billet family, started the first Great Falls Americans Podcast in September 2023. In each episode, Jim goes in depth about anything and everyting associated with the Great Falls Americans Junior A hockey team including history, players, staff, and the future of the team.
In his first episode that aired on August 30, 2023, Jim talked over four minutes about the history of the Great Falls Americans and more recently, the team that is here competing now.
The second episode that appeared on September 12, 2023 was an interview with former Great Falls American and current Americans assistant coach Alex Leaf as he talked about his playing for Great Falls and his new role as a coach.
On October 12, 2023, he released the third episode as he interviews defenseman Phil Harrell, who is in his second season with Great Falls. He currently as of October 11th has one goal and three assists in six games. Last season, the St. Louis, Missouri native scored two goals and dished out five assists in 45 appearances.
