GREAT FALLS, Mont., July 29, 2015 — The Great Falls (Montana) Americans Junior A hockey organization will be holding a three-day selection tryout camp on August 28-30, 2015 at the Great Falls Ice Plex for players willing to tryout for the Americans 2015-16 season.

The Americans are proud members of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL), which is the only Tier III affiliate of USA Hockey’s Tier II’s North American Hockey League (NAHL).

The Great Falls squad, under the direction of Jeff Heimel for the past three seasons, has an impressive record of 87-48-8 including winning the 2014-15 NA3HL Frontier Division championship in their first year in the league. Previously, they made back-to-back trips to the league finals with trips to the American West Hockey League (2013-14) and last year to the NA3HL Silver Cup Tournament.

The process helps many players achieve their goals of playing in more advanced stages of competitive hockey. For more information about recent alumni and the NA3HL, please click here.

There will be an informational meeting and player registration on Friday, August 28, 2015 so players will need to arrive in Great Falls by 2:00PM on that day. The camp features professional fitness testing, a team practice, four guaranteed games and an exit interview that will happen at the conclusion of camp on Sunday, August 30th.

The cost of the three-day camp (Friday-Sunday) is $199.00.

The Great Falls Americans have a camp rate setup for hotel rooms at the Staybridge Inn and Suites located at 201 3rd Street Northwest, Great Falls, Montana. Call 406-761-4903 for a rate of $85.00 per night.
