The Great Falls Americans got another team effort Saturday as four different players tallied five goals to lead Great Falls over the Bozeman IceDogs 5-1 in a NA3HL Frontier Division contest in front of 715 fans at the Ice Plex.
Justin Ohnstad lit the lamp twice for Coach Greg Sears’ club, with Dylan Olson, Cody Dearing, and Lindros Beard adding a goal each for the Americans, with Viktor Wennberg fending off 29 of the 30 shots he faced to get the win in the net.
The Americans (16-2-0-0, 32 points) remain atop the Frontier Division standings by two points over the Helena Bighorns (15-1-0-0, 30 points). The IceDogs are now third (8-7-2-0, 18 points).
Great Falls will again just have just one home match this week, this Saturday at 7:30 when they host the Missoula Junior Bruins at the IcePlex.
