The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) announced today their schedule and format for the 2015 NA3HL Playoffs and Silver Cup Championship.
2015 NA3HL Divisional Semi-Final Playoffs: The clubs are seeded within their own division based upon their finish in the regular season standings with the top four teams qualifying for the playoffs. The one and two seeded teams have home ice advantage with the highest seeded teams getting games one and three while game two would go to the lower seeded team.Teams may alternate arrangement upon mutual agreement. The first club to win two games moves on to the Divisional finals.

Game 1: #4 Seed @ #1 Seed
Game 2: #1 Seed @ #4 Seed
Game 3: #4 Seed @ #1 Seed (if necessary)
Game 1: #3 Seed @ #2 Seed
Game 2: #2 Seed @ #3 Seed
Game 3: #3 Seed @ #2 Seed (if necesssary)
2015 NA3HL Divisional Finals: The clubs that won their best-of-three divisional semifinal tournament will compete against each other in the divisional finals.The top-seeded team will have home ice advantage getting games one and three while game two would go to the lower seeded team. Teams may alternate arrangement upon mutual agreement. The first team to win two games will be declared the winner and advance to the Silver Cup Championship Tournament.
Best-of-3 Format:
Game 1: #2 Seed @ #1 Seed
Game 2: #1 Seed @ #2 Seed
Game 3: #2 Seed @ #1 Seed
2015 NA3HL Silver Cup Wild Card: The clubs that lost their best-of-three divisional finals tournament will be ranked 1-5 based on their regular season point totals and regular season tiebreaking procedures will be used if necessary. The top-ranked team (team with the highest season point total) shall be declared the Silver Cup Wild Card team and will advance to the Silver Cup Championship as the sixth seed.
2015 NA3HL Silver CupTournament: The five divisional playoff championships along with the wildcard will compete in the 6-team NA3HL Championship Tournament. The tournament will be a three-game round robin tournament followed by a championship game taking place at the Fox Valley Ice Arena in Geneva, Illinois from March 19-22. Teams will be seeded according to their finish in the NA3HL regular season standings. The round robin format will feature two pools with the top two teams facing off in the Silver Cup Championship game. A tie-breaking procedure will be used in the event of a tie after the round robin tournament.
Pool A: #1, #4, #6 teams
Pool B: #2, #3, #5 teams

Thurs. March 19: #4 vs. #3 (1PM MST), #6 vs. #2 (4PM MST), #5 vs. #1 (7PM MST)
Fri. March 20: #6 vs. #5 (12PM MST), #4 vs. #2 (3PM MST), #3 vs. #1 (6PM MST)
Sat. March 21: #5 vs. #4 (12PM MST), #6 vs. #3 (3PM MST), #2 vs. #1 (6PM MST)
Sun. Marc. 22: Pool A Winner vs. Pool B Winner, (1PM MST)
The winner and runner-up will advance to play in the 2015 USA Hockey Tier III Junior National Championship held in Simsbury, Connecticut the week after the Silver Cup.
